Core Principles
“Grandma's got cookies and they're all for you! But these cookies come with fire and mayhem. Follow these recipes and victory will taste sweet.”
Cookie is King
Your Firesnap Cookie defines your playstyle. It's save, it's stun, it's reposition. Master its timing, predict bounces, and you control the battlefield.
Shred Everything
Lil' Shredder is your workhorse. It melts armor, destroys wards, clears camps. Don't underestimate sustained damage - it wins fights through attrition.
Kiss the World
Mortimer Kisses provide more than damage. They give vision, control space, and force positioning. Sometimes the threat of Kisses is more valuable than the damage.
Position with Purpose
Every ability rewards good positioning. Cookie needs angles, Shredder needs range, Kisses need foresight. Your positioning determines your effectiveness.
Adapt and Overcome
You're a Swiss Army knife. Support with Cookie disruption, farm with Shredder, zone with Kisses. Read the game and be what your team needs.
Grandma Knows Best
Your age brings wisdom. Don't force plays, don't overextend. Pick your moments, use your tools precisely, and let younger heroes do the heavy lifting while you orchestrate.

Ability Analysis

Scatterblast
ActiveSnapfire shoots her scattergun in a cone in front of her, dealing damage and applying a knockback to enemies based on how close they are to the blast.
Notes: Your primary nuke and setup tool. Point-blank blasts will knock enemies back, setting up easy follow-ups with other abilities. Can be used to interrupt channels and reposition enemies.

Firesnap Cookie
ActiveSnapfire tosses a magical cookie to a target area. The cookie launches the first unit it hits into the air for 1.2 seconds, then slams them down, stunning nearby enemies for 1.75 seconds and destroying trees.
Notes: Your signature ability. Can be used on allies for repositioning (even through cliffs!) or enemies for direct stuns. Allies can't disjoint the cookie - it will follow them anywhere. Consider tossing on creeps for predictable stuns.

Lil' Shredder
ActiveSnapfire hops on Mortimer and fires continuously in a cone, dealing damage and applying a stacking armor reduction debuff to enemies hit.
Notes: Your main sustained damage source. Each shot applies attack modifiers and counts as a hero attack against wards. The armor reduction refreshes with each hit - delay your last shot to extend the debuff duration.

Mortimer Kisses
ActiveMortimer spews fiery mortar kisses that travel in a line, dealing damage and slowing enemies. The distance increases over time. Can be cancelled early.
Notes: Your ultimate ability for area control and vision. Projectiles provide vision while flying and lingering vision where they land. Can be cancelled early with stop command. Has minimum cast range - get in melee to counter.

Gobble Up (Aghanim's Scepter)
ActiveMortimer gobbles up an allied or enemy hero for 2.5 seconds. During this time, they cannot be targeted or act. Snapfire can then use Spit Out to launch the gobbled unit in a target direction, stunning enemies they pass through.
Notes: Transforms your utility potential. Can save allies from certain death or setup devastating initiations. Gobbling a Pangolier in Rolling Thunder causes a stun trail. Spit Out has same range as Mortimer Kisses - respect the z-axis!

Counter Guide
Good With
Snapfire excels when paired with heroes who can capitalize on her displacement and follow up on her setups. Earthshaker creates devastating combos with Cookie + Echo Slam. Magnus can Reverse Polarity after Cookie repositioning for guaranteed hits. Tiny can Toss Cookie-bounced allies for even crazier positioning plays. Spirit Breaker charges in while Cookie disrupts enemy positioning, creating confusion and chaos. Phantom Assassin benefits from the armor reduction of Lil' Shredder. Jakiro and Leshrac can follow up Cookie stuns with massive AoE damage. The key is heroes who need enemies to be out of position or grouped - Snapfire delivers perfect disruption for these follow-ups.
Bad Against
Snapfire struggles against heroes who can exploit her long cooldowns or interrupt her key abilities. Nyx Assassin can walk into Kiss projectiles and activate Spiked Carapace to instantly cancel the channel. Puck and Queen of Pain can avoid Cookie setups with their mobility and silence her during crucial moments. Anti-Mage burns her limited mana pool, preventing key ability usage. Sniper can assassinate her from extreme range to cancel Kisses. Oracle can dispel Lil' Shredder debuffs and save allies from Cookie stuns. Invoker can Tornado to interrupt Kisses and Cold Snap to kite her. Riki can stalk her during Kisses channeling. Heroes with strong silences, mobility, or long-range threats all pose serious challenges to Snapfire's effectiveness.
Good Against
Snapfire dominates heroes who rely on static positioning, channeling spells, or summons. Ward-dependent heroes like Shadow Shaman, Venomancer, and Techies suffer immensely as Lil' Shredder destroys wards efficiently. Channeling heroes such as Crystal Maiden (Freezing Field), Witch Doctor (Death Ward), and Enigma (Black Hole) become easy targets for Cookie interruption. Immobile supports like Sniper, Drow Ranger, and Lion are vulnerable to Cookie ganks. Summon heroes like Phantom Lancer have their illusions shredded by Lil' Shredder while being bounced by Cookie. Phoenix is particularly vulnerable - Lil' Shredder attacks count against Supernova, and Cookie can interrupt Icarus Dive. Pugna struggles as Lil' Shredder destroys Nether Ward and Cookie can interrupt Life Drain. Snapfire's mix of displacement, sustained damage, and anti-ward capabilities makes her a nightmare for these hero types.
