Hero Overview

Weaver is an agility hero who excels as a carry or offlaner. His unique combination of mobility, sustained damage, and survivability makes him a formidable presence throughout the game. With his ability to phase through reality, strike twice in succession, and rewind time, he can dominate battles through superior positioning and tactical escapes.

The hero's strength lies in his elusiveness and sustained damage output. Shukuchi provides unmatched mobility and invisibility for harassment and escapes, while Geminate Attack offers consistent damage output. Swarm provides vision and additional damage, while Time Lapse serves as one of the most powerful survival abilities in the game. With proper positioning and timing, Weaver can dominate the mid-game through aggressive harassment and remain relevant in late-game teamfights.

      Phase-by-Phase Game Strategy

      Early Game (Laning)

As a carry, focus on farming efficiently while harassing your opponent with Shukuchi. Use the invisibility to position yourself for last hits and to dodge enemy spells. Practice landing last hits with Geminate Attack rather than the initial attack. Use Time Lapse liberally to sustain yourself in lane, as it has a relatively short cooldown early on. Remember that you can cast Shukuchi while channeling a TP, allowing for quick escapes or repositioning.

      Mid Game (Rotations & Ganks)

This is Weaver's power spike. With core items like Desolator or Linken's Sphere, you become a major threat. Constantly look for pick-offs on isolated supports or squishy cores. Use Swarm's long cast range to scout dangerous areas or check Roshan before committing. In early teamfights, your goal is to weave in and out of combat. Use Shukuchi to get in, apply damage with Geminate Attack and Swarm, and then reposition. Be aggressive, as Time Lapse is a powerful safety net that allows you to undo mistakes or bait enemy ultimates. Don't be afraid to dive towers, especially after applying Swarm to draw aggro.

      Late Game (Positioning & Execution)

In the late game, Weaver transitions into a high-damage, elusive carry. Your primary focus must be on positioning. Stay on the outskirts of fights, using Shukuchi to reposition and Swarm for vision on key targets. Your damage output is high, but you're still fragile and can be bursted down with detection and lockdown. Prioritize eliminating enemy supports first. A key late-game tactic is the 'buyback and Time Lapse' combo. If you are caught and killed quickly, you can buy back, instantly use Time Lapse upon respawning, and return to the fight, often at near full health. With Aghanim's Scepter, your role expands to saving key allies with Time Lapse, which can turn the tide of a crucial teamfight without breaking their channels.
